The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will be released in August

The Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced today (22) that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will be released on August 30th. In collaboration with the Nickelodeon, thirteen extreme games from across Konami's archive of titles TMNT 8-bit, 16-bit and arcade retro and their Japanese versions* bring Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo to life on console and PC for an MSRP of US$ 39.99.

Physical copies are still available for pre-order at online and local stores. This timeless collection of original Turtles classics takes fans on a hunt for the Destroyer, fighting the Foot Clan as well as Bebop and Rocksteady in a version of the games that set the standard for beat 'em up action.

The games are based on the characters and themes of the 1980s children's cartoon and comic book series, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that often take place in a fictional city of New York, around sewers, inside futuristic enemy bases and even through time! In collaboration with Nickelodeon, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: A The Cowabunga Collectionwill also include many extras using images from the original cartoons, comics and other historical content from TMNT in a compiled museum that connects the franchise across the various mediums.
