Acer announces a series of new ecologically sustainable Vero devices, honoring its commitment to supporting a more sustainable future and giving consumers, businesses and institutions more options to reduce their ecological footprint. The new Vero notebooks and AIO desktops, monitors, projectors and peripherals use a percentage of PCR (Post Consumer Recycled Plastic), OBP (Ocean Discharged Plastics) and recyclable packaging. Computers are easy to disassemble, simplifying the repair or upgrade process and extending their lifespan.

Aspire Vero notebooks
The new Aspire Vero (AV14-51) features a 14-inch Full HD display and offers all the eco-friendly benefits of previous generations, but powered by the latest Intel processors.® Core™ 12th generation. In addition, in addition to the exclusive Cobblestone Gray color, it is now available in the beautiful Mariana Blue. Both the 14-inch and 15-inch Aspire Vero have OceanGlass™ trackpads, made from plastic dumped into the ocean. Like previous models, the new Aspire Vero chassis uses 30% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), which is durable and rigid and saves 21% in carbon emissions. for chassis production. The notebook's display frame uses 30% PCR plastic, as well as the keys use 50%, further reducing the computer's footprint, while no paint is used on the chassis. Veriton Vero comes equipped with Windows Hello that uses an IR scanner for facial recognition, while a discreet Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 enhances security. Vero PD2325W projector
A projector with low power consumption and low environmental impact, the Acer Vero PD2325W uses 50% of PCR plastic in the chassis and 85% of recycled paper packaging to reduce waste. Its LED light source offers a long lifespan of up to 30,000 hours and results in approximately 50% of energy savings compared to traditional mercury-containing lamp projectors. This makes it not only greener, but also lowers the total cost of ownership.
With a high contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, 2,200 lumens and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, the Acer Vero PD2325W projects presentations with clarity and precision. It also supports an extended REC 709 wide color gamut of 125%, which is 1.5 to 2 times greater than that provided by traditional projectors using lamps.
