Continuing our analysis of notebook gamers from SHIP, this time we received the model Polaris, with GK5NP50 - 120Hz configuration with a AMD Ryzen ™ 5, 16 GB of RAM and an Nvidia Geoforce GTX card.

Installation

To start our analysis, nothing better than going back to the factory settings. Just like the model LUNAR, Polaris is also quick and simple when installing Windows 10. The installation of the Microsoft operating system ended up being just a little longer due to the security configuration and other devices that the user wants to install, but this already does part of the staff.

Right after installation, the notebook did not request any updates, except for the installation of the Nvidia video card, which took seconds.

Safety

The Polaris model has facial recognition along with the password or PIN to access the notebook. We put both the PIN and the recognition, which worked perfectly. Even putting on glasses or making faces, the system did not fail. If someone else uses it, just enter the PIN and it is ready for use.

A tip that remains for the company is to do as on smartphones where you can register more than one type of fingerprint, and can add at least one more person to use the notebook. Anyway, it is already something that works!

Devices

This part remains very simple and in well chosen places. With audio input to put a microphone and a headset, it still has input on the rear for HDMI, which is phenomenal, as it does not bring problems for those who need to connect a TV or some other device. In addition, it does not mess the wires. The USB inputs are also on the sides, but there is still a tip for at least audio inputs and a USB on the front.

Job

This is definitely a fast notebook! With a soft keyboard, an anti-glare monitor - better than the LUNAR version - the response to commands is practically instantaneous. It may seem silly, but for those who play and need precision, in addition to a good internet, you will notice this differential.

To install and download other programs at the same time, the Polaris model had no bottleneck, allowing the user to work with several windows at the same time. We kept Microsoft's Edge and Chrome with several tabs open, like streaming page, youtube, download and upload, the Yakuza: Like a Dragon game working, in addition to Photoshop. It can be said that he endured without even complaining.

The same of its battery, which in game mode, managed to last a little more than 3 hours, removing the game. With the game, it lasted almost exactly 2h20.

Finishing?

No. We will still have more analysis of the Polaris notebook from NAVE, with games, work programs, entertainment, portability, among others. But for now, we affirm that this is a comfortable, beautiful and light notebook to be taken anywhere.

Its black color design maintains the company's quality standard, but when you touch it, it looks like a metal finish instead of plastic. Therefore, within all of the above, this is a notebook worth buying.
