Assassin's Creed turns 15 and starts the celebrations

The Ubisoft has just announced the start of celebrations for the Assassin's Creed 15th Anniversary. The date is seen by the studio as an opportunity for the teams involved with the series to thank fans for their extraordinary years of history and shared passion.

So, over the next few months, players will discover surprises, collaborations, rewards, community activations, and more. On this anniversary, Ubisoft intends for players to get the most out of the games in the series, from the first assassins Creed to Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

For this, a new site dedicated to the celebrations and live broadcasts are being carried out on Twitch and in YouTube. The studios involved in the development of Assassin's Creed hope that the community will take the opportunity to enjoy the contents of the series and already invites everyone to a very special event that will be held in September with news about the future of the franchise.

Thanks to unprecedented support from Year 2 of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, game players also get access to new free content, which includes the return of festivals, the Mastery Challenge Pack 2 and Armory feature, as well as new caves to explore and the mystery of the Tombs of the Fallen to solve.

Later in the third quarter, players will be able to participate in a journey of Odin inspired by the rogue-lite genre and set in the spectacular region of Niflheim, when they will discover the new game mode. The Forgotten Saga, which will offer a renewed and free gameplay experience for all users of the game. At the end of the year, another surprise awaits fans, as the Assassin's Creed teams will reveal the latest episode of Eivor's story in one more free chapter.

Ubisoft is also taking advantage of Assassin's Creed 15th Anniversary celebrations to officially announce support for Assassin's Creed Origins at 60 FPS on Xbox Series X | S and in PlayStation 5. From now on, players can rediscover Ancient Egypt under Cleopatra's reign at 60 FPS and make the most of Bayek's adventures.

To celebrate this update, a free game weekend will be held between June 16th and 20th. Interested players can even pre-download from today on this site.

Five years ago, the Ubisoft teams' idea of making historical facts more accessible to a wider audience brought three chapters of the Discovery Tour series to life. For easy access to learning, Ubisoft reveals that Discovery Tour: Viking Age is now available as a standalone experience on both consoles and PC.

Finally, each week a game in the series will receive new content, with rewards and interactive experiences for all users. For starters, several Assassin's Creed Origins tattoo sets and a naval pack are already available in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
