1. A journey through the timeline
“When we started to come up with ideas for a new series about Loki, we knew immediately that we didn't want to invalidate his death at the hands of Thanos. We didn't want to say 'It's a joke. This did not happened'. So it was important for us to have a premise that would allow us to tell a new story, without invalidating everything we know and appreciate about Loki's journey so far," he says. So, the starting point of the series is the moment when Loki picks up the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. From there, Loki falls into the hands of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), outside the timeline he was in and in accordance with the present of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
