One of the most successful characters from horror films is back in theaters in Killer toy.
With national premiere scheduled for August in theaters, the production presents a new version of the toy, more modern and technological. Check out the new trailer captioned above.
In the feature, the toy is part of the line of Buddi dolls, produced by Kaslan Corporation, a company that increasingly invests in smart technologies. This new version has several updates, among them, the toy can now connect to other electronic devices, such as cell phones, drones and automatic cars. It is when Karen (Aubrey Plaza) presents her son, Andy (Gabriel Bateman), with a Buddi doll, that strange crimes begin to happen in the neighborhood, revealing his dark nature.
Directed by Lars Klevberg and scripted by Tyler Burton, Killer toy features the voice of Mark Hamill as the doll, David Lewis (“The Man of Steel”), Ty Consiglio (“Extraordinary”) and Zahra Anderson (“iZombie”) in the cast.
Killer doll is scheduled to debut in August in Brazil.
