Canon announced the launch of the Vixia HF G50 camcorder that features 4K / 30P recording technology with professional control level. This model has different features compared to its predecessor, the VIXIA HF G40.
“It is with great satisfaction that we introduce the Vixia HF G50 to the market. This camcorder is aimed at professionals in the wedding market and other segments. It is light, portable and now has 4K technology, which will bring higher image resolution to the most varied jobs ”, explains Fábio Zuccaratto, Canon do Brasil's Broadcast supervisor.
With a 20x optical zoom lens, CMOS sensor, and DIGIC DV 6 image processing platform, it is possible to obtain high quality 4K / 30P images across the 29.3mm wide-angle zoom range to the 601mm * 1 telephoto lens.
With Dynamic Mode, which is already installed, it is possible to correct the camera shake in 5 axes (horizontal rotation, vertical rotation, horizontal axis rotation, vertical movements, and horizontal movements). Even when recording while walking, it is possible to reduce shaking and distortion, in addition to capturing stable images.
The 0.24 inch display adopts a type of tilt that can be adjusted to about 45º above and is effective for recording at low angle, making life easier for those operating the camcorder. In addition, the zoom key adopts the “see-saw” style pattern, facilitating the zoom control for the operator.
The launch is expected to arrive in Brazil from May 2019.
