Another edition of CCXP has come to an end, and this year the event reached an incredible milestone: It became the biggest Comic Con in the world.
Reading this must be strange, and at this point you may be asking yourself: “What about SDCC?”. Calm down, I'll explain, this year's CCXP hit a historic mark, as the largest comic in the world in terms of number of people.
In the 4 days the event received 280 thousand fans, beating the previous record of 262 thousand people in 2018. The Brazilian audience is even bigger than that of the original San Diego Comic Con, which gathered 135 thousand people this year.
Estimates from the event organizers indicate that the event has injected around 265 million reais into the city's economy and generated 11,000 direct and indirect jobs.
