Acer Swift X
The Acer Swift X notebook (SFX14-41G) represents a new segment within the Swift portfolio, the first in its series to come equipped with discrete graphics, all of which at an impressive 1.39 kg (3.06 lbs) . Your NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU, based on NVIDIA's Ampere architecture, combined with mobile processors up to AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800U and 16 GB of RAM offer a lot of power to creative professionals, such as video editors or photographers. Continuing the legacy of the Swift family, all of this hardware was installed in a metal chassis measuring just 17.9 mm (0.7 in.) of thickness.
The productivity capabilities of the Acer Swift X go even further thanks to SSD storage of up to 2 TB, allowing all the user's work to be taken with them, and a 59W fast-charging battery that offers up to 17 hours(*) of use.
(*) Battery life is based on the MobileMark 2014® test in productivity mode, with wireless enabled. Details about the MobileMark 2014 tests are available at www.bapco.com. The battery life rating is for comparative purposes only. Battery life varies by model, configuration, application, power management settings, operating conditions and features used. The maximum capacity of the batteries decreases with time and use.
Swift X has a 14-inch FHD IPS screen with 85.7% of screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits brightness and 100% sRGB - enough to edit 4K videos or retouch photos in the best way. A wide range of ports, including fully functional USB Type-C, ensures ultra-fast data transfer, video streaming and battery charging, facilitating this process, while Wi-Fi 6 means faster overall connectivity.
The notebook also includes a fingerprint sensor for safer logins via Windows Hello, AI-enhanced noise suppression for smoother video calls, and Acer BlueLightShield technology, which helps to reduce eye strain during long editing sessions .
Quiet and at the ideal temperature
Built with the heaviest work sessions in mind, the new Swift X uses a fan with 59 blades of 0.3 mm and a pair of copper D6 heat tubes to optimize its thermal efficiency. A number of other innovations also improve the notebook's cooling efficiency: an air intake keyboard design expels about 8% to 10% more heat than a standard keyboard and a stereo ring with an inclined plane at the top of the fan provides 5 to 10% for improved airflow.
