We have reached the age of watching the biographies of our artists and childhood heroes.

After Bohemian Rhapsody, with Rami Malek’s incredible interpretation, passing lightly and with an attitude for The Dirt, now it’s time for Rocketman, a feature film about Elton John's life.

This biographical film, unlike Bohemian, is stronger and fearless. Not that Freddie Mercury's story was not a good one. It was great, but it seems that something else was missing.

Rocketman he is brave and had the production of Elton himself. It follows a well-told chronology and as it could not be missing, much of its successes on this journey with incredible interpretations of the actors.

The film focused not only on his successful trajectory, but also on the reality of the life of a rock star, with loneliness, drugs and addictions. It is a great reflection on the price of being a music star known worldwide, and how easy it is to get lost on the way, leaving the best of yourself behind.

Interesting for fans of the singer, as well as music in general, is to realize that the ever-extravagant musical numbers explain the meanings of his songs. And his 21 songs are there, to the delight of the fans.

Taron Egerton interprets Elton John very well, because in addition to singing, the actor gives life in microseconds from an idiot to the talented singer.

Rocketman is an extravagant autobiography of a singer who took his life in all colors, turning the rest into black and white. A bold film for people who need a little more in their lives, on how to fly to longer horizons and especially on how to land.
