The Netflix has placed many new titles on its streaming platform. To the delight of fans of the series Dance Academy, which had been removed from the platform and recently returned to the Brazilian catalog, Netflix announced that the film in the series will also enter the catalog.
The expected date for the film's premiere on the platform is July 2 of this year.
The film premiered in Australia on April 6, 2017, and made fans of the series kill the longing they felt for the characters and the journey of Tara Webster (Xenia Goodwin). The series Dance Academy it ended in season three, and despite having closed some cycles, it left most fans with a taste of continuation.
Dance Academy tells the story of Tara Webster, a young woman who dreams of joining the National Dance Academy. In addition to the daily life of the dancer, we also see how Tara's friends deal with their own problems. Everyone has their dreams and obstacles to go through, and dance is present in every episode of the series.
The film continues the events that followed the second and third season. Tara suffers a serious injury from a negligent teacher, and now she has to deal with a heart divided between never dancing and fighting for ballet and for a contract with a company. Her friends are also very present in the film, but unlike the series, where the focus was not only on the protagonist, the film seems to focus more on Tara Webster.
