DC Comics fans can celebrate! The home of the greatest heroes of the multiverse will be present at CCXP World 21 with two exclusive panels, which will air on December 4th and 5th on the stage of Artists' Valley by Santander.
On the 'Trial of the Amazons' panel, editor Brittany Holzherr speaks to the creative team of what is the first Wonder Woman crossover in over 30 years. The story set for 2022 features several versions of the iconic female character of DC uniting Diana, Brazilian Yara Flor, Nubia, Artemis, Queen Hippolyta in a fight that will define the future of the Amazon.
In this panel, we will have the participation of Stephanie Williams, a comic book historian and pop culture critic who writes for major pop culture websites. She recently made her DC Comics debut in 'Wonder Woman – Black and Gold # 2' and is co-writing the miniseries 'Nubia and the Amazons'. Eisner Award-nominated artist Joëlle Jones returns to CCXP to talk more about the Brazilian version of Wonder Woman, Yara Flor. Another familiar face of comic book fans is Michael Conrad, who has previously worked with 'Destiny Patrol' on a production co-written by Becky Cloonan is also confirmed on the Amazon panel. Writer and artist Joelle Jones also participates, who was with Brazilian fans at CCXP 2019 and who is currently responsible for the title of Yara Flor.
The second panel is about Nightwing (Nocturne Wing, in Brazil) and is moderated by the editor Jessica Chen, who will talk to the creative team about the development of the narrative for the comic book 'Nightwing #87'. In this story, still unpublished in Brazil, the plot develops in a continuous image throughout all the pages. On the panel will be: Tom Taylor, well-known New York Times bestselling comic book writer and screenwriter and famous for 'Superman: Son of Kal-El' and many works from 'Star Wars'; the artist Bruno Redondo and the Brazilian Adriano Lucas, who has works in 'Liga da Justiça', 'Mulher Maravilha' and 'Superman'.
In 2021, the biggest pop culture festival on the planet takes place virtually on December 4th and 5th.
