DHL makes sustainable transport of vehicles from the new James Bond movie

The DHL, launched an international campaign to mark the debut of the new film by James Bondno time to die, and celebrate a five-year partnership with the franchise. The focus is on an international TV commercial that shows how DHL creates and implements transport and logistics solutions for the production of features since Casino Royale, in 2006.

The plot has the same levels of intrigue and excitement as a car chase seen in the movies. The commercial features the iconic Aston Martin DB5, directed by Bond's stuntman, Ben Collins, who worked alongside the assistant stunt coordinator of the no time to die, Pete White.

Recorded by award-winning director Adam Berg, from the producer smuggler, the production also presents Linus Sandgren, in no time to die, as director of photography. The creative concept was developed by the agency 180 Amsterdam. The commercial can be accessed on the website or given below.

no time to die was driven by Cary Joji Fukunaga and it stars Daniel Craig, which returns for its fifth and final film as 007. The production will be released in theaters in Brazil on September 30 and in the United States on October 8, 2021.

Recently, DHL safely transported (and in zero carbon operation) eight original vehicles that were used in the film and are the main attraction of an exhibition at the Petersen Automotive Museum.

The vehicles left Norwich, United Kingdom, and went to Los Angeles, United States. Among the models, there are five Aston Martins, two BMWs it is a Lotus Esprit S1, known to fans as Wet Nellie in her 1977 film appearance, 007 – The Spy Who Loved Me.

The first stage of the trip was the sea transport from Norwich, United Kingdom, to Houston, United States, by DHL's FCL GoGreen Plus Sustainable Maritime Fuel Service, in a neutral delivery (no emission of pollutants) to the environment. Then the cars followed by road, in vehicles with air suspension to avoid damage, to Los Angeles. 

“From here, we are following the complex mission that our team in Europe and the United States accomplished perfectly. The know-how of our professionals in the automotive logistics sector was essential to accomplish a feat of this magnitude, which was complicated by a relatively tight schedule, the high value of the vehicles, differentiated handling and the temporary import license," he said Eric Brenner, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding Brazil, arm of the multinational specialized in the transport of perishable products, sustainable logistics and air, sea and road logistics.

Eric Brenner went on to say, “The automotive industry needs end-to-end compatible logistics solutions. Every day, across the world, our people work with a wide range of automotive customers to solve practical problems – from shorter lead times to special deliveries like the eight original James Bond vehicles!”.
