Charm, gives Walt Disney Animation Studios, tells the story of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family that lives hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house known as Encanto. The new original movie features Stephanie Beatriz as the English voice of Mirabel, a 15-year-old girl struggling to find her place in the family. “Mirabel is a very fun and loving character who also deeply yearns for something more”says Beatrice. "She's also not afraid to stand up for what she knows is right, something I love and relate to a lot."
"I'm Colombian on my father's side and playing this role makes me proud", to be continued Beatrice. “As a child Disney fan, I watched my VHS tapes over and over again and loved all the magical stories the Disney world presented to me. I learned from these stories that anything is possible, especially if you believe in magic and goodness in all of us.”
In the movie, magic blessed every child in the family with a unique gift, from super strength to healing power. Everyone except Mirabel. But when she discovers that the magic surrounding Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only Madrigal without magical powers, could be her family's last hope. English voices also include Maria Cecilia Botero, Wilmer Valderrama, Adassa, Diane Guerrero, Mauro Castillo, Angie Cepeda, Jessica Darrow, Happy Rhenzy and Carolina Gaitan. The voices of the Brazilian version will be revealed soon.
