The first stage of eLaLiga Santander Fan Cup, organized by LaLiga and the Electronic Arts (EA), ended with great participation success. During the months of November and December, more than 21,000 entrants from 16 countries participated in a total of 31 online tournaments during the national finals, from which 40 players left who will now face each other in the regional finals.

For Brazil, Mh (Matheus Henrique Santos de Sousa), Toniotti (Erick Lima Toniotti), PAIVINHA (Gustavo Henrique Paiva) and diegoarrudar17 (Diego Arruda Rufino) will represent the country in the South American regional final.

Since January 30, disputes have begun in the regional finals, in which the finalists of each country are the protagonists. From the competitions, the eight players who will fight for the victory in the Grand Final of May, in Madrid, Spain, will leave. Check the dates:

• January 30 and 31 - North America Regional Final (USA, Colombia and Mexico).

• February 6 and 7 - South America Regional Final (Brazil, Ecuador and Argentina).

• February 20 and 21: Regional Final for Africa (Egypt and South Africa).

• 27 and 28 February: Regional Final for Europe and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Russia and Turkey).

• March 20 and 21 - Regional Final for Asia (South Korea, China, Thailand and Vietnam).

• Representatives from Spain will leave national tournaments online; the dates will be announced soon.

ELaLiga will also launch the sponsorship agreement with Galaxy Racer in this new phase. The platform will exclusively broadcast the regional finals in Arabic to its more than 50 million followers.

Due to the global health crisis of the new Coronavirus, the Asian regional final will be the only one held in person. In other regions of the world, the competition will be adapted to a 100% online format and thus guarantee the safety of all participants, without losing the excitement and spectacle of virtual football on this journey to the Grand Final.

Grand Final in Madrid, Spain

On May 8 - depending, of course, on the health situation in Spain due to the pandemic - the 8 regional finalists will meet in the Grand Final of Madrid, where they will compete for a prize of 10,000 euros, in addition to enjoying the VIP Experience of eLaLiga.

In an unprecedented event for the competition, all matches will be broadcast on the official eLaLiga channels on Twitch and thus bring all the excitement to the screens of fans around the world.

The final will be held on the same weekend and venue as the eLaLiga Santander Grand Final, the national professional competition for FIFA 21. Therefore, eLaLiga Santander, focused on professional players from Spain, and the first edition of the eLaLiga Santander Fan Cup, will be a point of convergence between fan players with the competitive world of eSports, all playing in the same environment promoted by LaLiga and Eletronic Arts.
