The Universal Pictures released the trailer for Emma, adaptation of the modern classic of Jane Austen, from 1815– which now has the young Anya Taylor-Joy (The witch; Fragmented; Glass) as the protagonist.

Directed by Autumn by Wilde, the production has the script of Eleanor Catton and features a satire on social classes and the pains of ripening. The character Emma Woodhouse is beautiful, intelligent and wealthy, almost a restless queen bee without rivals in her peaceful city. In this comedy, she will have to venture through the wrong games and romantic mistakes to find love.
The cast also brings Bill Nighy, Gemma Whelan, Josh O'Connor, Johnny Flynn, Mia Goth, Miranda Hart, Callum turner, Rupert Graves, Amber Anderson, Tanya Reynolds and Connor Swindells.
The film hits theaters in Brazil on April 23, 2020.
