This weekend the champion of the Magic: The Gathering Latam Challenge, the championship of the most traditional trading card game in the world that brought together more than fifteen hundred players from Latin America.
Three Brazilians are among the eight finalists (top8): Mario Palma, Vagner W. Casatti and Matheus Yanagiura. Besides them, two players from Colombia (Karl Sarap and Simón A. Escobar), two from Mexico (Gonzalo R. Vargas and Tlacaelel Campos) and one from Argentina (Fischer G. Andres) will compete for the total prize pool of US$45 thousand.
Completely online and performed at MTG Arena, version of Magic: The Gathering for PC and Mac, the finals will be played in the double elimination format and all matches will be broadcast live on the Magic channel on Twitch, with the participation of professional players and MTG content creators. The disputes of the final start, on Friday, 11/12, at 18h, and on Saturday and Sunday, 12 and 13/12, starting at 14h (Brasília time).
