About the game

After 1,000 years of peace, the seal on the gates of hell was broken and a flood of evil spirits was released into the world. Finding himself on the brink of destruction, Getsu Fuma must take command as the leader of his clan and delve into the bowels of hell to destroy evil at its very core.

Jointly developed by the independent studio GuruGuru, GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon introduces the Ukiyo-e-style roguelike action genre with a stunning dark fantasy world brought to life with a touch of traditional Japanese art.

Players will descend into the Ukiyo-e-style underworld levels, mastering an arsenal of weapons and gear that can be combined to suit a variety of playstyles. The game features highly strategic combat based on the unique space and time aspects of Japanese martial arts. Scary bosses and ever-changing layouts will challenge players, allowing them to grow stronger with each attempt.

During GetsuFumaDen's early access period, the game underwent several updates and fixes, many of which were inspired by feedback from the Steam Community, the official twitter It's from official server on discord.

New stages, characters, weapons, bosses (and more!) were implemented in the last year and the full product is available for new Nintendo Switch players to enjoy. New content will continue to be added to the GetsuFumaDen after launch, so stay tuned!
