The new Doctor, Peter Capaldi, and his companion Jenna Coleman will arrive in Rio de Janeiro on August 18th.
The beginning of the world tour Doctor Who: The World Tour, started yesterday, at Cardiff Castle, Wales. The twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi, arrived at the launching debut of the new season in style. After all, the TARDIS, the time machine used by the doctor during the 50 years of series, appeared at the top of the castle, making English fans and journalists get into the mood of the new season.
Beside his companion Jenna Coleman (Clara Oswald), and the series' executive producer, Steven Moffat, the new doctor talked to fans before the official release of the tour to the press.

The tour started yesterday (August 7) in Cardiff, Wales, from where he left for London (United Kingdom), Seoul (South Korea), Sydney (Australia), New York (USA), Mexico City (Mexico) ) and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
