Lexa: Shows That Power | Document series premieres at Globoplay

The singer Lexa win an original documentary Globoplay this Thursday, the 24th. Over five episodes, Lexa: Show That Power recalls the beginning of the singer's career, the challenges, the twists, the musical acclaim and plans for the future.

The documentary project is done in partnership with Multishow – with whom Lexa has a long-standing relationship – and produced by KondZilla Films, with executive production of Konrad Dantas and Darlin Ferrattry. On the channel, the artist has already commanded programs such as TVZ Lexa Season, Multishow Summer and On the Gas of Just Dance, besides having been on the stage of the Multishow Award, where he received the trophy for TVZ Clip of the Year and performed in a musical number that was marked in his career and is in the documentary.

“I am very proud of my story because I built everything without going over anyone else. All women can be whatever they want, and I talk about that a lot in the documentary. I hope people get to know me even more and identify with me,” Lexa says. It will be possible to follow the singer's visit to her old house and the bakery where she worked as a baker, in the Araticum community, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, her life together with the singer and husband MC Guimê at the house in São Paulo and hectic routine of professional appointments that involves meetings, recording of music and video clips, photo shoots, participation in events, among others.

The documentary shows the backstage of clips like “Quebrar seu Coração” and “Sussu” and also the studio recording of the hit “Suavidade”, among other artistic creations. The singer also comments on the challenges she has faced and recalls the importance of family and friends in her life. The series features testimonials from Lexa's family and names like Xuxa Meneghel, Black Gil, Veronica Costa, Tati Breaks Shack and KondZilla.
