Locke & Key | See the moments when the series pays homage to the creator and greats of terror

Fans of the original material will immediately notice that the name of the fictional Massachusetts city where the Keyhouse mansion is located has been changed from Lovecraft, a tribute to HP Lovecraft, for Matheson, in honor of the late author and screenwriter Richard Matheson, best known for the 1954 novel I'm the Legend.

Still suffering from his father's murder three months earlier, Locke's children, Goat (Jackson Robert Scott), Kinsey (Emilia Jones) and Tyler (Connor Jessup) change with their mother Nina (Darby Stanchfield) to your ancestral home. While Tyler plays hockey, Kinsey befriends Scot (Petrice Jones), a classmate from the Matheson Academy and his group of amateur horror filmmakers, the Savini Squad, named in honor of “Gore's godfather”, makeup and special effects artist Tom Savini.

There, he is helped by the store owner, played by Savini, who gives him a pot full of old keys.

The other appearances do not arrive until the end of the season, after the children apparently defeated Dodge. When Bode arrives in town to check Ellie Whedon (Sherri Saum) and your son Rufus (Coby Bird), he finds his friend injured and Ellie is gone after a previous confrontation with Dodge. The paramedics called to the scene are none other than Locke & Key artist Gabriel Rodriguez and writer Joe Hill, each with a line of dialogue.
