Airplane mode | Larissa Manoela's character gets into trouble in the official movie trailer

Addicted to cell phones, young Ana, a digital influencer played by Larissa, is forced to face a world without internet.

In just a minute, a thousand likes. This is the life of Ana's star, a digital influencer interpreted by Larissa Manoela in the movie Airplane mode, which marks the actress's debut at Netflix and just won a trailer.

Poster girl of a brand led by the Carola nebula (Katiuscia Canoro), the video reveals the daily life of the fashionista girl (who, of course, wakes up with makeup on) and an important detail: in addition to likes on social networks, she collects… traffic tickets. One day, staring at her cell phone while driving, Ana has an accident and sees her life turn upside down, or rather, go into airplane mode.

As a punishment for learning to live without a smartphone all the time, she gets a forced vacation at her grandfather Germano's farm (Erasmo Carlos) – totally disconnected from the internet – and is forced to help him in his workshop. Goodbye, false nails and powerful looks. Hello, grease and oil. However, more than fixing old cars, Ana discovers the chance to reconnect with real life and get to know herself for real. After all, life is much more than pumped posts.

Based on a screenplay by Mexican Alberto Bremer, the film has a Brazilian adaptation written by Renato Fagundes (Os Penetras 2, Vai que Cola – O Começo) and Alice Name-Bomtempo (Vai que Cola). The direction is by César Rodrigues (Vai que Cola – O Filme, Minha Mãe é um Peça 2) and the production by Luiz Noronha, Cecilia Grosso and Samanta Moraes, from the production company A Fábrica.

Airplane mode premieres on January 23, 2020, only on Netflix
