The Netflix today announced the premiere date of the series Star Trek: Discovery.
Star Trek: Discovery will premiere on Monday, September 25th exclusively on Netflix worldwide except the US and Canada.
All new episodes will debut on Netflix on Mondays. The 15-episode series will be divided into two chapters. The first eight episodes will premiere from Monday, September 25th through Monday, November 6th. The season returns with the second chapter in January 2018.
Star Trek, one of the most iconic and influential franchises on world television, returns 50 years after its first premiere, with Star Trek: Discovery. The series will follow the travels of Starship Trooper on their missions to discover new worlds and life forms, and a Starship Corps officer who will need to learn that, to understand everything that comes from space, you must first understand yourself. The production will bring a new ship, new characters and missions, with the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and practitioners.
