During the press conference of Electronic Arts, at E3 2016, the release date and some details of Titanfall 2.
The game will be released worldwide on October 28, 2016 on Origin for PC and in digital and physical versions for Xbox one and Playstation 4 (in this for the first time in franchise history).
The FPS is being built on the pillars that the Respawn established in the first Titanfall: fast, fluid and fun gameplay between Pilots and Titans, to once again innovate and elevate the shooter genre.
“In the first Titanfall, we focused on excellent gameplay and reinventing the way you move and battle in an FPS,” he said. Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn Entertainment and co-creator of the Call of Duty franchise. “In Titanfall 2 we are building on these pillars, introducing the much-requested single player campaign, supported by a deeper multiplayer experience, which together will once again raise the bar for shooters.”
In single player mode, Titanfall 2 will deliver an experience that explores the unique bond between man and machine. Playable offline, the single player campaign will allow the player to leave the Frontier as a marksman with aspirations of becoming an elite Pilot. Trapped behind enemy lines and facing every possible adversity, players must team up with a veteran Titan to complete a mission they don't believe they're prepared to perform. In multiplayer, Respawn continues to evolve its high level of gameplay to deliver a more robust, deep and varied experience, which includes six new Titans, more Pilot skills, new customization options and a more complete progression system to satisfy fans.
