To kick off the celebrations of #StarWarsDay, celebrated today (May 4th), the Disney + unveiled the new trailer and poster for Obi-Wan Kenobi, which shows a fascinating preview of this long-awaited original series. The production premieres exclusively on streaming on May 27, with the first two episodes. After that, one episode per week will be released, on Wednesdays, until June 22 – the date of season finale.

Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place ten years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, when Obi-Wan suffered his greatest defeat: the downfall and betrayal of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who passed to the dark side of the force becoming the cruel Sith Lord Darth Vader.
