autobots! Let's run! The older ones will surely remember these robots from the 1980s that were on television. They faced the Decepticons, who were much nicer, in a fight to save the Earth. Of course there was a lot more to being able to return to their planet, but what mattered to the children, today many are parents, were the struggles.
With time came games for consoles, PCs, more adventures for television, comics, more games and the fateful movie adaptations made by Michael “Blows Everything” Bay. The first feature of 2007 was even cool, but the only thing that is remembered is the scene from Megan Fox in mini skirt. The rest of the others are an abomination with Transformer even pissing! It was the last movie with Optimus appearing out of nowhere and always saying he is The Invincible Iron Fist, oops, Optimus Prime.
But luckily, so fans are cheering, Paramount has confirmed that it has already started filming the new feature, with the confirmed title of Transformers: The Awakening of the Beasts, which will take the audience on an adventure around the world, set in the 90s, and will present the Maximals, Predacons and terrorcons to the battle on Earth between Autobots and Decepticons. The new adaptation will be directed by Steven Cape Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos (In a New York Neighborhood, Hamilton, among others) and dominique fishback (Judas and the Black Messiah). The film will hit theaters in 2022!
So far there is no other news about the film. Remembering that Niantic recently confirmed the development of a new Transformers game called Transformers: Heavy Metal. The game is expected to be released globally this year, with a smooth release in some countries, but without a precise date. In Transformers: Heavy Metal, players will join the Guardian Network, a group of humans who have joined the Autobots in a war against the Decepticons. As a Guardian, players will discover hidden regions across the Earth to find resources and fight Decepticons in turn-based battles, either alone or with friends.
