 Another comedy about family relationships….

Dads, new comedy from Fox, explores the terrible relationship between Warner (Giovanni Ribisi) and his father Crawford (Martin Mull), who currently lives at Warner’s house, driving everyone crazy and Eli (Seth Green) and his father David (Peter Riegert), who fight more than dog and cat.

Warner and Eli own a company that specializes in developing video games, which is growing very well, until their parents get in the way. Crawford basically has no life, which makes him get involved in everything his son does and thus, believing that he works with him at the company, he ends up getting in the way of business a lot.

Eli and David have a really complicated relationship, Eli holds a lot of grief at being "abandoned" by his father in his childhood and now tries to avoid him whenever possible. The problem is that your father is going through a terrible financial situation and will now move in with him.

The point of the series is that, she tries to exploit her father's problems, but the only thing she can do is prove that Warner and Eli are very, very immature, and their parents, completely crazy. It is a very weak comedy, with weak and very predictable jokes. The unnecessary amount of Asian jokes caused the series to be criticized by Asian society, calling it racist. Well, there wasn’t even a need for super jokes made of “small instruments” or to put the secretary dressed as an Asian schoolgirl, but considering racism was exaggerated too.

The pilot was very boring, one that makes you suffer to reach the end of the incredibly long 20 minutes, and even Seth Green couldn't save him. I even think this was the worst performance I've ever seen from Seth Green, who is known for being a great comedian, here, I even thought his performance left a little to be desired, but it may have been just because the performance joined the environment forced comic series. We have to remember that it is a comedy of Seth MacFarlane, who has a very controversial mood. Seth makes great comedies, but has a tendency to force the bar on jokes in dubious humor.

Dads it was a really bad debut, but still has a slight hope of improving. The plot is nothing original, but if you improve the script and the jokes a bit, the series may have a future.
