What will be Helix
helix it's the new series on the channel SYFY, and as is the channel's tradition, another supernatural series is on the air, I particularly liked this pilot and also the second episode (it was a double airing). The premise is pretty basic and happens in a lot of movies out there. An Arctic research facility seeks help from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) as a virus has been discovered inside the facility that is killing people, Dr. Dr. Alan Farragut(Billy Campbell) is called to try to find out which virus one of those infected by is her brother Dr. Peter Farragut(Neil Napier).
Soon in the pilot of helix dynamics are presented where each episode corresponds to a day at the research center. Upon arriving at the place Alan meets the Dr. Hiroshi Hatake(Hiroyuki Sanada) head of the research center and immediately realizes that that virus and that place is not something normal, but new and surprising.
We also know Alan's ex wife Dr. Julia Walker(Kyra Zagorsky), The Dr. Sarah Jordan(Jordan Hayes) Alan's friend and pupil, the Dr. Sarah Jordan(Jordan Hayes) researcher and suspicious that something there is very wrong and the Major Sergio Balleseros(Mark Ghanime) that he shows himself to be a good person but hides the secret that he knows all the reasons for that situation.
The still unknown virus makes it clear that it is very powerful and transforms people into hosts and can pass the virus to others (similar to a zombie) and how this occurs within a place where there is no way out the fear of proliferation and soon established.
I particularly liked the two episodes and I have already seen the third but the plot The main one is very much based on biogenetics so if you don't like the theme you can skip it or I don't know you'll also get infected by helix.
