You can say what you want, but Mixology it's a series that really pleased me.
Mixology comes with the different, but not so much, proposal to tell us the night of 10 people. That's right, 10 people went out to enjoy the night in a bar and we'll see what happened during that time. In order not to get tiring and finish the story too quickly, we have flashbacks showing the life of each one during the episodes.
I confess that I couldn't (or even tried) memorize everyone's name. But I can say that their personality was well defined in this pilot. We have here a guy who has just come out of a very long relationship, and the only one he has had so far, who goes out with his friends to "get back in the game"; A tough woman who was raised as a man by her father, who goes out with her extremely straightforward co-worker who recently became engaged; A former millionaire who just got poor; A waitress and a chicken bartender who had a brief relationship; And finally, a mother who finally managed to get out of the house with a friend.
All these characters are placed in this bar so that we can see
the shit what will happen. Is the idea original? No. The series is somewhat different from the relationship series we see out there, like Dates or Hello Ladies? No. But it is one of those nice series to watch to pass the time (just 20 minutes), laugh a little and feel ashamed of others.
I watched the first 2 episodes of Mixology and, even though it is not a series with a lot of content, I intend to keep following.
