Guardians of the Galaxy (Guardians of the Galaxy) was a bold bet by Marvel, making a film of non-famous superheroes was a risky choice, but it worked very well.

Originally created in 1969, HQ's Guardians of the Galaxy were not much explored until 5 years ago, in 2008, when the Marvel Comics created a new lineup of comics. Rescuing practically forgotten characters, the new HQ did not have the fame of heroes as Spider man, Hulk or Iron Man, but managed to win over the audience to the point of winning a film adaptation.

The plot features Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), O Star Lord, which after looting a sphere ends up getting involved in the plans of Ronan (Lee Pace), a military man from the planet Kree who intends to destroy the planet Xandar, led by Nova Prime (Glenn Close). Quill is forced to ally himself with a quartet of misfits, composed of Rocket (voice of Bradley Cooper), a sniper raccoon; Groot (voice of Vin Diesel), a humanoid tree; Gamora (Zoe Saldana), an enigmatic and Drax (Dave Bautista), the destroyer, who had his family murdered by Ronan and now seeks revenge.

The great highlight of Guardians of the Galaxy is the presentation of the characters, a job that was very well done. Perhaps because it is a somewhat unknown comic, the film takes care to develop the guardians a lot, without losing the focus of the premise, but giving a way to fit the introduction of the characters whenever possible. Following the format of recent works by Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy has a good dose of comedy at the right times, which not only work very well in production, but make the movie the most entertaining Marvel to date.

The ambience of Guardians of the Galaxy is so well done that it comes to remember classics like Star Wars. If the viewer does not go to the cinema aware that he is Marvel and miss the introduction of the company, he will not even notice that he is seeing a work of Super Heroes, the work can easily be seen as a science fiction.

Guardians of the Galaxy proves that Marvel's success in cinema is not in the respected characters, but in how to develop and entertain. Featuring these remarkable characters very well, the film expands the reach of the Marvel Universe and opens doors to a promising future.
