Second volume of the saga Shadow Falls Camp at Dusk, Eternal starts exactly where Reborn finished.

The protagonist Della Tsang went through a major investigation in the first volume, while we knew everything about the girl. If you haven't seen it yet, read the review of Reborn clicking on here.

*** Warning: May contain some spoiler from the first volume. ***

In Reborn, Della discovers that she is more than just a vampire, she is also a Reborn. In addition to making it difficult for the girl to adapt to her vampire side, it also interferes with her love life, as she is now linked to Chase and your boyfriend Steve you don't feel good about it.

Della begins to see a new ghost, who appears to be trapped and in need of help to get out of there. She accepts this mission, which she will need to work with Chase again. During the investigation, Della needs to find out what she feels about her partner, while also finding new clues about her family's past.

The case of Eternal it is much deeper than the predecessor, but I found this volume more empty. The focus is almost entirely on Della and Chase, describing how she feels about having that connection and how she feels about Steve. This excess of romance dispersed my attention a little in this book, in addition to leaving a little cliché.

“That's how she felt about Chase. A part of her believed that the bonds between them could not be severed. The other party wanted to get scissors. ”

Other than that, Eternal it was a very pleasant read. This new case causes much greater suspense, as they have to race against time to try to save the prisoners - who cannot even prove they are alive.

Kylie she is almost forgotten in this work, appearing only to support her friends and this shows how Della managed to evolve, without needing the protagonist of the previous saga to support herself. Miranda, who has not yet had a work focused only on her, still has issues being resolved here.

As usual, the cover looks beautiful. With the same details as Reborn, all that changes are the tones, which are more bluish here, maintaining the beauty of the saga.

Eternal it ends with a huge hook for the sequel, the kind that leaves you sleepless nights wondering what happens. So, prepare to suffer with great anxiety for the release of the next book.
