Anyway, we have reached the end of Trilogy Cousins O'Dwyer.

Who saw my review about Shadow Spell you know I didn’t think the second volume was so good, because it’s repetitive. Nora Roberts chose an interesting format for writing this trilogy, where each volume is focused on a couple, Blood Magic follows this line, however, because it is the former super complicated couple Branna and Fin, it was nothing repetitive.

First of all, let's recall a little bit of the initial proposal of the Cousin O'Dwyer Trilogy? Sorcha, known as Night Witch, was chased there by 1263 by the powerful wizard Cabhan. After an attack, she passes her powers on to her three children, Brannaugh, Eamon, and Teagan, and along with them their legacy of Night Witch and the promise to defeat Cabhan, no matter what generation. Sorcha's current heirs are the Branna brothers and Connor, and the cousin, Iona, with the help of friends BoyleMeara and Fin, who owns Cabhan's blood and brand.

*** Attention: May contain spoliers for those who have not read the previous volumes ***

Blood Magic it is the book where we believe that we will see the end of Cabhan and all the curse and mission included in the blood of the three (four, if you count Fin). Nora Roberts broke the aforementioned repetition in the narrative present in the first two volumes (couple approaching-couple fighting-circle fighting and losing), holding until the last second the outcome of this battle that we wanted to see so much.

Branna and Fin are a much more complex couple than the rest of their friends, since they have been separated for 12 years because of Fin's brand and everyone knows they still love each other, so their story opens up more space to develop more naturally and leaves the focus of the work more to the preparations for the long-awaited confrontation, which pleased me a lot!

Unfortunately, I can't talk much about Blood Magic without giving too much spoilers, I can only say that Nora Roberts nailed the magic part, using logical solutions that are sure to please readers.

Blood Magic concludes the trilogy very well, with an extra dose of nervousness. Whoever was anxious to know how this battle that had lasted for generations would end, will be very satisfied with the outcome. It is a trilogy that I indicate without fear!
