The saga Shadow Falls Camp pleased many readers and had several captivating characters. Between them, Della Tsang stood out and with that he won the chance to star in his own books, returning in Reborn– Volume 1 of the saga Shadow Falls Camp At Dusk.

The Publisher Jangada sent me the copy that also contains the The Della Tsang Chronicles, which is essential for a complete understanding of history. Here, Della tells how she was turned into a vampire, the change that took place in her life, and how she arrived at the camp. Shadow Falls. It is advisable to start reading with him.

I've already noticed that Della is a vampire. Her family still doesn't know this and that's why they think the girl is in trouble, which ends up making her relationship with them very difficult. Luckily, Della has great friends at camp that she can always count on, Miranda and Kylie.

The mess in her life only gets worse when a new vampire arrives at the camp, the mysterious Chase. Della doesn't like the boy, feels that something is wrong, but for some reason he seems to always be around. When a new murder needs to be investigated, Della sees her chance to try to become a UPF agent, but it forces her to have even more contact with Chase. On top of all that, Della still tries to investigate her family, as she recently discovered some information that hints that there are other vampires in her. As if all this wasn't enough, Della still starts to feel a little strange, maybe sick, seeing things she shouldn't see and, to finish, she has to face problems in her relationship with Steve.

By the premise, Reborn it may seem like just another vampire work for teenagers, but it goes far beyond that. The strong female protagonist sets a great tone for the book and is not unexplored, Della is constantly fighting machismo in the camp and at the UPF headquarters. CC Hunter it poses many issues to be resolved at the same time and this leaves no gaps for the work to become tiring or dragging at any time. These factors, added to the delicious and fluid narrative of Hunter, make reading almost impossible to put down.

The secondary characters are equally captivating, in a short time we find ourselves desperate with the possibility of something happening to any of them. Even with a younger tone, Reborn is not just about romance, it bets a lot on mystery. At various times I could feel a more “instructive” tone as well, as if the author was trying to convey some messages to younger readers.

I know a lot of people are tired of seeing works with vampires, I'm already fed up myself, but Reborn ended up impressing me. The focus of the book is not vampirism, it has a very large core of supernatural creatures. Yet it doesn't stop there, dealing with scare relevants like friendship, family, and relationships, with a dash of murder to shake things up.

  2. Hello all well?
I see a lot of people praising this book, but I was never really interested because of the vampiric plot. But I'm glad you thought he has something innovative that goes beyond that. A good tip for anyone who likes this type of book.

  4. Hello how are you??
I'm very suspicious about this author because I love her writing... because it's sensational and holds in a way that I can't explain... I just love the Shadowfalls series and I want to finish to start the story of Della who is a character I like too much!! Your review was wonderful… I really enjoyed reading a little and knowing what to expect from the plot… Xero!!

I didn't know about this book and your review really interested me. I read this genre very little, but knowing that other subjects are covered made my curiosity piqued. Good to know that even being a "hit" subject, this book made you be impressed.
    Very good!! kisses
