I've always liked light fantasy works, those that are made with a captivating and fluid story, almost a fairy tale. And that's exactly what Plot is, a book that takes you to a kingdom with knights and princesses, but with a different plot.

In Plot We know nels, a peasant who wants to be a knight, but for a reason unknown to him, his mother does not support this dream. When the day of the city's festival arrives, Nels manages to go hidden and finds himself very close to realizing his dream… then he dies. Yes, the protagonist dies right at the beginning of the book and that's what caught my attention most about this reading.

However, Nels doesn't actually get killed, he comes back as a ghost. The only person who can see him is the princess Tyra, who clearly doesn't want to help a ghost, and that's where things get funny. Nels is haunting the princess until he gets what he wants, now imagine a royal talking to herself and screaming at something no one can see, complicated, right? In the end, Nels gets a promise of help from Tyra and the two discover that the peasant is "half alive", held in a coma-like state by Ickabosh, through a spell known as Warp. The book explains very well how it works, but in short, it's a kind of magic made with threads, similar to sewing, and Nels is unsewn. To come back to life, Nels needs a coveted magic needle.

"Weaving is like an illusion: you produce the fabric of reality to temporarily change what's around you."

Tyra and the ghost set out in search of the object, on the way they discover that they have more in common than they imagine, and also discover that a dangerous enemy is trying to dominate the castle. Nels and the princess must run to find the needle and save the boy's life and everyone else in the castle.

Trama

Plot it is aimed at a young audience, but in reality it has the potential to please everyone. The way in which events unfold and become more and more complex is impressive. Michael Jensen and David Powers King narrated this story in a way so fluid that it seems a movie, it is not difficult to imagine the events as if they were scenes in a feature. Overall, it's very original, you might think you know what's going to happen because of the theme, but you'll be surprised.

With captivating characters, lots of magic and adventure, Plot is a work that deserves a chance, even those less fond of costumes can like this hot and cute Trama.
