The Dwarf and the Dragon tells the story of Kazur, a dwarf descendant of the last dwarf king of Dokma-Aram. Your city has been taken over by a raging scarlet red dragon and has driven out all the survivors who became peasants living in another way so as not to succumb to the hardships of their new reality. On his 50th birthday, Kazûr is attacked by another dwarf who humiliates him and mocks the misfortune that had befallen him in the family. That same scarlet red dragon, with its strength and ambition, dethrones the king Tar-Kazûr, The Just, who dies in combat and unfortunately cannot save his magnificent city. Past – if years, two hundred years after the impregnable fortress city of Dokma-Aram having been turned into the lair of the great red dragon, after having suffered so many humiliations, the tiny but brave Kazûr decided to take what is truly his. And through your bravery, conquer your city from the reddish paws of the dragon Wyndwagon and thus restore peace and prove that his family's royal blood and grandfather's efforts paid off.

A light, captivating, quiet and fast plot. In addition, history shows us that it takes courage and face difficulties with your head held high, just like our protagonist Kazûr and not only that, fight for what you believe in and make it work when no one believes it's possible. Who has never been humiliated and ignored? belittled? But we can't give up just because people hurt us with their cold and cruel words. Our dwarf could very well have sealed an alliance with the dragon, but he didn't. He could have regained his reign and let everyone who hurt, mocked him suffer in misery, but on the contrary, he used wisdom and showed that a good leader is above all things, someone coherent and human. That's the kind of leader we need these days. Perhaps, this story is not just about fiction, fantasy, adventure, but a “guide” on how to fight and defend your own people.

⁣⁣ Written by national author Felipe M. Oliveira, this book is divided into five chapters and is very short. You can read it in one night without any problems and even though it's short it's light and very rich in details. A positive point are the illustrations that guide the reader's imagination and help him to identify the places described by the author and if you are interested, in addition to this work there are other books available on Amazon by the same author. Remembering that "The Dwarf and the Dragon" is a spin-off of the events narrated in the novel "Antúrie: The Elven Sword of the Sunset“.
