As the title says, the game is a "Remastered". So don't expect anything new in this game. But if you're a big fan of racing and the Need for Speed franchise, you're sure to love all the new twist on cars, tracks and everything else that makes this game one of the best in the genre.

Need for Speed

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered features graphical enhancements to the world of Seacrest County, where winding roads and exotic supercars provide an adrenaline-filled sense of speed.

An in-depth single player campaign offers action from both sides of the law, where cops loaded with tactical weapons can arrest their suspects and elite pilots can level the playing field with counterattacks and defensive maneuvers. Through a seamlessly connected multiplayer experience across all race modes, players and players can play their campaign solo or take on friends to earn Bounty and unlock new cars, weapons and equipment.

The game

Hot Pursuit is adrenaline and recklessness behind the wheel. That said, you can only imagine how much players can speed up and perform tricks that can't be done in simulator games. This is one of the advantages of arcade titles, being able to put your finger on the button and not let go.

This remaster is also great as it doesn't mess with the “no need to fix” stuff. One of the mistakes made by many producers is to put in the title Remaster and end up creating an entirely new storyline or adding something that has nothing to do with gameplay. And luckily this doesn't happen with Need for Speed.

The looks of the cars and the tracks are excellent and there is a very good balance between reality and design. Sometimes the creators so strive for excellence in bringing realism that the game is totally weird.

Another positive aspect of the game is that it remains a true classic, when racing games were simpler, that is, when more value was given to the driver than spending hours and hours having to fix every electronic detail of his car. Here the strength is in the grip on the steering wheel.

Worth it!

Complementing the title, it is valid for several reasons. For those who grew up with Need for Speed, they'll have that sense of nostalgia and feel rewarded with a game that upholds the tradition. If you're new, you'll be delighted with the ease of a game that doesn't oblige you to get to know or take mechanic lessons in order to have fun.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is a racing game for everyone that gives you the thrill of speed, with a look of cars, landscapes and tracks that will make you play more than hours of the title, but want to travel all over this game. , which on the downside, is just its speed… of being so short.

The game is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
