Find out everything about JK Rowling and the cast of 'Fantastic Beasts' at the TODAY Show in New York

The writer J.K. Rowling participated this Monday (24th) of the program TODAY Show, in New York and on occasion, gave a two-minute interview to the presenters. Although small, the interview was enlightening and dynamic for fans of the Witch World.

The fans got up early and filled the square where the studio is located and whoever was present at the place, left with several gifts from the film.

The participation of Rowling in the program, marks the beginning of the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, before the feature's debut in theaters. In addition, it was announced that the last trailer for the film will be released next Tuesday (25).

"I know about the next four things I'm writing", said Rowling a um dos apresentadores. “I'm scared to die before I do it all“, brincou a roteirista. Ainda durante a entrevista, a britânica revelou sobre o que se trata o segundo filme da nova franquia de seu Witch World.

"Fantastic Beasts is the story of how Dumbledore it became Dumbledore“, revelou. Podemos levar em consideração que por se tratar de uma estratégia de marketing – e ela estava muito bem assessorada -, o possível medo da Warner to suffer a boycott and thereby suffer weak ticket sales during the film's stay in the cinemas, may have led to J.K. Rowling to emphasize this statement, since one of the protagonists of the feature film is the actor Johnny Depp, who was involved in domestic violence scandals against his ex-wife, the actress Amber Heard.

"You would still be writing Harry Potter, if you wanted?“, perguntou um dos apresentadores. “Yes, if you wanted", answered Rowling, “we are in Witch World yet, so I kind of continue“. O elenco também esteve na Praça. Alison Sudol (Queenie), Ezra Miller (Credence), Dan Fogler (Jacob), Callum turner (Theseus Scamander), Katherine Waterston (Tina), Zoë Kravitz (Leta Lestrange) and Claudia Kim, que até o momento, sua personagem é conhecida como “Maledictus” ou Nagini, interacted with fans distributing autographs, and also, photographing.

Eddie Redmayne was not there, but left a message for fans.
