Is coming! This Saturday, September 21, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Batman, DC and Warner Bros. will light up the sky of São Paulo with the projection of the iconic Bat-Signal on the Itaúsa LMB building, on Avenida Paulista. The event will take place at 8 pm and promises to be a great show that, like a solar eclipse, can be unique. And São Paulo is not alone in this. The screening will take place in several of the world's major cities: Melbourne, Tokyo, Johannesburg, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, London, Montreal, Mexico City and, of course, Gotham City, New York. Always at 20:00 local time.
Fans can keep up with the festivities with the new Batman Bat-Tracker interactive. As cities flip the famous switch that lights up the badge, the Batman Bat-Tracker will mirror the projections in real time. Additional information about the Bat-Signal celebrations and activations in these cities can be found at Batman80.com.
Batman Day celebrations in Brazil also include the Batman 80 exhibition, which takes place at the Latin America Memorial, also in São Paulo (https://batman80expo.com.br/) until December 15th; The Art of The Brick: DC Super Heroes, the biggest Lego exhibition in the world that arrives at OCA, in Ibirapuera Park, and runs until November; the night race Batman Run Series, on September 21, where athletes will walk through the streets of downtown São Paulo; in addition to product launches in partnership with major brands, such as Riachuelo, C&A, Pernambucanas, Marisa, Piticas, Havaianas and Grendene, throughout the country.
