The second season of the original series HBO, The Hypnotist premieres in October on the channel.
Based on Argentine comics Pablo De Santis and Juan Sáenz Valiente, the production features talent from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay and is full of special effects.
Comprising eight episodes, each one hour long, the second season presents Arenas willing to fulfill his greatest desire: to go where no one knows him and abandon his role as a hypnotist. Leaving on the first boat, you arrive at an island called Puente Blanco, which looks perfect. However, when he gets to know the locals and their attitudes, he discovers that appearances can be deceiving.
The past insists on chasing Arenas and situations make him have to use his hypnosis techniques, unearthing secrets from those who cross his path. While trying to help others, the protagonist faces yet another personal drama.
In addition to Brazilians Fernando Alves Pinto, in the role of Morton; and Mayana Neiva, playing Mariela; are part of the cast Carla Quevedo, in the April paper; Darío Grandinetti, as Captain; Daniel Hendler, in the role of Faber and Luís Machin, like Sartori.
The Hypnotist premieres on October 29, at 11 pm, on the channel HBO.
