Traquitanas do Bob

Bob's Tricks reveals what can come from the interaction between ordinary objects and a very creative man

America is full of inventors, but none are like Bob Partington. In the new attraction of History, Bob's Traquitanas, each week this ingenious young man receives three objects, all connected to the country's creative past. Bob's task is to use these artifacts in fun never-before-seen inventions. Every now and then he uses the objects to help a stranger or a local business. Sometimes you just want to do something nice for yourself. What matters is that he is helping to keep the true American inventor spirit alive.

In the premiere show, on Friday 9/5, at 10 pm, Bob receives a box of seemingly random objects and together with his team uses these items to come up with three contraptions. With a paint roller he creates a beer can cooler. A brace will serve to charge cell phone batteries. And Bob even uses a boat rudder to cut pizzas at one of New York's most famous pizzerias.

Then, at 10:30 pm, a hot dog machine reminds Bob of his childhood and inspires him to create something that will make baseball fans very happy. With a pair of jeans, the inventor comes up with a “pants chair” that helps a worker, who is standing all the time, to rest when the boss is not looking. And using a scale, Bob invents a lift for his apron. So, when he arrives at his workshop, he feels encouraged to work on his great inventions.
