The game created by Raw Fury in conjunction with the studio Massive Damage Games (Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander) are finally ready to release Star Renegades in orbit! Roguelike tactical RPG with electrifying turn-based battles comes to PCs (via Steam) on the 8th of September. Console versions are also scheduled and will come to Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox one.
For starters, the game is phenomenal in its visuals. The settings and characters are very well done, as are the battle effects. It is without a doubt a game that remembers Phantasy Star. Its soundtrack is engaging and not boring at all. It gives that air of expectation that every RPG game needs.
Star Renegades follows the turn-based combat system, which for some players may be somewhat outdated, but don't judge this game too quickly. Because we played a beta, some things, like the preview with the drones, were kind of slow, as were the sprites, according to the gameplay above.
