The HBO Max just announced the actors Murray Bartlett, With O'Neill and Jeffrey Pierce in the cast of the series of HBO The Last of Us. Based on the critically acclaimed video game of the same title, developed by Naughty Dog exclusively for platforms PlayStation, the story takes place twenty years after the destruction of modern civilization.
Joel, a resentful survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts out as a small job soon becomes a brutal and moving journey, as both must traverse the US and depend on each other to survive.
Newly announced cast:
