South south! Electronic Arts and Maxis today introduced new content for the Sims 4, including the next Botanical Decoration Kit and a free base game update, which introduces new gameplay features called Scenarios. As part of the season of self, these content updates encourage creativity and exploration, and make gameplay easier with all-new ways to celebrate all sides of your Sims' personality.
Botanical decoration kit
The Sims 4 Botanical Decoration Kit is the latest kit created for Simmers, who are looking to fill their spaces with lush vegetation and create a modern sanctuary in their homes. The kit will be released on November 9th for PC and Mac via Origin and Steam, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
A flair for gardening isn't necessary in this new kit, as Sims are inspired to bring the outdoors in with vibrant plants that breathe new life into any space. Gamers can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere of growing all around with unexpected leafy details and natural beauty, enlivening their spaces by transforming regular household items into vivid decor with the addition of charming foliage. Potted and hanging plants turn any room into a little piece of paradise and, with a multitude of verdant colors, it will be literally like living in a greenhouse.
In addition, Scenarios are now available to players and females as a free base game update for the Sims 4 across all platforms, offering a new way for Simmers to play and explore.
Scenarios are in-game goal-based stories where the choice of who plays affects the outcome — just like in real life! Today's update features the Challenge Scenarios: Finding Love After a Breakup and Making money; as well as a limited edition of Scenery, too many babies, which will be available from tomorrow until November 6th.
