The Walking Dead: World Beyond | TWD-derived series gets official title and new trailer


The series derived from The Walking Dead had its production announced a while ago by AMC, with confirmed cast and other official information. Now, the production has won its official title, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, and a new video released.

The plot will present the story of two young protagonists and will focus on the first generation to grow up in the apocalypse. Some will become heroes. Others, villains. In the end, everyone will be changed forever. More mature, they will have their identities, good and bad, rooted.

The cast has Aliyah Royale like Iris, Annet Mahendru like Huck, Nico Tortorella like Felix, Joe Holt like Dr. Raymond Campbell, Nicolas Cantu like Elton, Hal Cumpston like Silas, James Martin Kelly like Uncle Carlo, Alexa Mansour like Hope, Reece Rios like Isaac, and Pritesh Shah like Mr. Kadakia.

Created by Scott M. Gimple, beside Matt Negrete, the series will have its season composed of 10 episodes. This is not the only ongoing project that will show a further expansion of such a universe. In addition, a film trilogy with the former protagonist of the series, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), is also currently under development by AMC.
