The Witcher | Watch the teaser shown at SDCC 2019

The Netflix produced the panel The Witcher at San Diego Comic Con 2019. This is the first time that big information about the series has come out on a large scale. It turns out that the streaming, kept the production under strict secrecy, as well as the technical team — cast, producers and direction.

The series is based on the literary series and has nothing to do with the video game series, also of the same name. And who guaranteed the deed was Lauren Hissrich, producer of the attraction in an interview with the portal Entertainment Weekly, days before the SDCC to start.

At the Hall H, Hissrich talked about the scenes of sex and violence that the series will show, ensuring that everything is part of the context in which the plot is concentrated. "It's an adult series. I say this because it was important to me that whatever violence or sex is addressed, justify the story and not just be there to make an impact.”, said Lauren.

During the trailer display, we see that the first scenes show Geralt (Henry Cavill) and your fighting and combat skills. The other scenes show Yennefer (Anya Shalotra) and Ciri (Freya Allan), respectively.
