The bard Jaskier, interpreted by Joey Crashy, is a great addendum to the The Witcher. Telling the stories in the form of music, the character ends up creating catchy songs that stick in the head - including the actor's.

In an interview with Comic Book, Batey revealed that, like everyone who watched the series, he also can't get the songs out of his head, especially Give your wizard some change.

“I've had this in my head for eight months. The songs have been stuck in my mind since the first time I heard them. I went to bed humming. I woke up humming, I did everything humming. You have no idea what hell I went through to memorize the lyrics.”

Batey also said that the songs have become a huge hit and pleases the creative team behind the compositions, for whom he only has praise.

“It is thanks to the wonderful compositions of Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinellii, who are just superlative songwriters,” he revealed. “They understand the power of music, but also the writers with the lyrics, the power of storytelling in this context and on this continent. It was a joy to play them on set, because I play them on set and I sing them on set and then I'm going to go away and come back four months, five months later and I'm going to record them in the studio, because […] if a plane flies over, then it’s a ruined vocal take.”

Finally, he reveals that he misses the bard and loves the moments when he returns to the recordings.

“And so, I come back to the songs after I finished the show and I really missed that. I was missing the character and all the people involved. It was a lovely thing to be able to walk into the studio and see them all again, and step into Jaskier's shoes. It was a really wonderful experience.”
