Today's Thunder Tips is very redundant. Instead of indicating a single film or a single series, we will indicate ONE SINGLE ACTRESS, owner of everything and everyone, including owner of the largest number of nominations in the Oscar throughout his career and history of gym.
And since we are only a few days away from the Oscars, and as it would be no different Meryl Streep is again indicated for her work in Florence Foster Jenkins, where brilliantly, he acts singing in several scenes. Meryl's DNA with musical films emerged when she played Donna Sheridan, in Mamma Mia! and likewise, he sang live during the recordings.
Meryl is so brilliant that he excels in diverse roles, from the comic to the most serious. And at great cost, we separated some of the most iconic films of Meryl's career for you, the reader, to delight and know that the same actress is capable of giving life to several characters in cinema. Viola Davis, another actress who competes for the Oscar for “best supporting actress” for her work in A Limit Between Us, with Denzel Washington, it was just compliments to Meryl during the Golden Globes ceremony last month. “You are a MUSA”, said Viola in one of the excerpts where she tells her backstage experience with the veteran, during the filming of Doubt – click here to watch Viola Davis’s speech on Meryl.
Today's films are:
- Sofia's Choice (what a film!)
- Mamma Mia! (my favorite, I confess)
- The Iron Lady (this is amazing!)
- The Devil Wears Prada (who never died of love for Miranda Priestly?)
- Julie & Julia (this is all sweetie)
- Simply Complicated (good romantic comedy, see?)
- A Divan for Two (a comedy drama with a great lesson in life)
- Doubt (with the wonderful Viola Davis)
Take advantage of the fact that we're at the Carnival weekend and make this "Meryltona" with the right to popcorn and a lot of love involved with this woman that we don't even know very much, but we consider pacas! <3
Ah, don't forget that Sunday we have an appointment on Thunder's twitter, see? Sunday is Oscar day and I will comment on the whole ceremony using the hashtag #ThunderNoOscar. Click here and take a look at our predilections for this year's top awards.
