This mega show was attended by famous artists and rock groups of the time, such as The Who, Status Quo, Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, Madonna, Queen, Joan Baez, David Bowie, BB King, Rolling Stones, Sting, Scorpions, U2, Paul McCartney, Phil Collins (who played in England and the USA), Eric Clapton, Black Sabbath, among others.
