O Amazon Prime Video acquired the global rights of Truth Seeker, from British producer Stolen Picture, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Miles Ketley. The new Amazon Original horror comedy series will be launched exclusively on the streaming service in more than 200 countries and territories.

Starring Nick Frost, as Gus, and Simon Pegg, as Dave, Truth Seekers tells the story of a team of paranormal investigators who come together to discover and film ghost sightings across the UK, and who share the adventures on an online channel for everyone to watch. However, while visiting haunted churches, underground bunkers and abandoned hospitals with an arsenal of homemade ghosts-detecting devices, the supernatural experiences become more frequent, terrifying and even fatal, when they discover a conspiracy that can provoke the Armageddon of the race human.

Set in a mysterious world and full of terrifying monsters, Truth Seekers mixes humor with scary moments in an exciting narrative by the same creators of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Sick Note and Paul.

“Nick and I are very happy to Truth Seekers have found a home like Amazon Prime Video. We are looking forward to working with them and creating something very special. Television is going through a great phase and I can't imagine a better partner than Amazon to accompany us on this return to the small screen ”, exalts Simon Pegg.

Her colleague, Nick Frost, adds that “Simon, Miles, me and everyone at Stolen Picture are excited to be doing Truth Seekerswith our new partner, Amazon Prime Video. We are also delighted to see this crazy tale of paranormal conspiracy unfolding. Amazon's commitment and support to the original series shows us that we couldn't be collaborating with a bigger and better team. ”

"I can't wait for the audience from all over the world to know what we are creating and the fantastic characters of this special, unique and terrifying mission."
