The feature film, which would premiere on March 19, was postponed due to the outbreak of the disease and the first to divulge the news was the director and screenwriter of the feature, John Krasinski, who expressed his desire to launch production only when "Everyone can see it together".
The new release date has not yet been stipulated.
The plot takes place shortly after the deadly events, even indoors, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) now needs to face terror around the world, continuing to struggle to survive in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that creatures that hunt for sound are not the only threats that watch them along the sandy path.
